Transcendent recertifies as a B Corp Company

Transcendent has renewed its certification as a B Corp Company, which accredits those organizations that meet high standards in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency and business responsibility.
This milestone reaffirms its commitment to business management that integrates impact in strategic decision-making, and its active contribution to a global community that promotes systemic change in the way of doing business.
“Revalidating the B Corp certification reflects our commitment to integrating the principles we promote into our own management. We understand this as a matter of coherence: only through the rigorous internal application of these standards can we accompany our clients with legitimacy in their transformation processes towards positive impact. And we do this through a combination of technical knowledge, specialized experience and a close and realistic relationship with each organization”, says Ángel Pérez Agenjo, managing partner of Transcendent.
The B Corp movement, promoted by the non-profit organization B Lab, proposes a way of understanding the role of companies in society: as active agents of transformation, capable of generating economic value and positive impact on people and the planet. Belonging to this community implies a continuous demand for improvement and a management framework aimed at creating long-term value.
Since its founding, Transcendent has been aligned with this vision and since 2018, the company has been linked to the B Corp movement, as part of the first group of B multipliers in Spain. Since then, he has worked with organizations of different sectors and sizes in the initial analysis and preparation for certification, as well as on more types of sustainability and impact projects.
“The B Corp evaluation process offers much more than certification. For many of our clients, it is a structured starting point to identify areas for improvement and define a clear road map in social, environmental and governance terms, even when certification is not an immediate objective”, adds Pérez Agenjo.
